Karori Community Garden

~ nurturing sustainable plants and people ~

The Karori Community Garden is a shared garden space since 2015 in the suburb of Karori in Te Whanganui-a-Tara / Wellington, New Zealand. The garden is a welcoming place that:

fosters gardening knowledge

builds ties within the community

creates access to food

celebrates nature

People can have their own plot, contribute to communal garden areas, and join in on working sessions and events.

Email to get on the waiting list for a plot or join in to a working bee. Say hi to people as you walk past.

Lisa the coordinator of the garden is interested in building a stronger community and works to create a safe and enjoyable garden for members and participants of all ages. If you are interested in learning more email to express an interest and explore the website for more about our community and ways to get involved.
